WXOW in La Crosse Wisconsin is reporting on the increasing popularity of surveillance and security cameras.
Local establishments from banks to restaurants to stores are installing more and more security cameras to help protect themselves and their customers.
Cameras can prevent employee theft, and identify suspects in robbery attempts, and even recenty helped capture a robbery suspect.
Security cameras can save businesses time and money by eliminating loss and making the community safer.

NBC 4 in Columbus Ohio recently released security camera footage of a man robbing a local beauty supply store.
The video was released in coordination with the Columbus Police in hopes that someone can help identify the armed robber.
According to reports, the man entered the store at around 5:45 on Tuesday, June 8th with a handgun and demanded that the employee running the register hand over money.
The employee gave the suspect some amount of money, and the suspect fled. Please see the full story for more details.
